As the bracket unfolded the way it did, 2 of the top Call of Duty teams find themselves battling it out in the semi-finals, while 2 amateur teams face off in the other. The winner of this match would be the obvious favourite, and possbily the most competitive games of the night.

On the first map, Lockdown CTF, apeX took an early lead but Collapse had a brilliant comeback to take the map 3-2. The second map was set for Underground search and destroy. apeX are widely regarded as the stronger team in SND, and proved it by taking the map relatively easily, 4-1.

With a 1-1 draw on maps, Bootleg CTF brought yet another tie. Collapse looked to have the game wrapped up after a 2-0 lead in the first half. It was apeX's turn to have a comeback as they took 2 maps in the second half, the last flag captured with just seconds to spare. Due to the tie situation, the map was to be replayed. Again, Collapse took a 2-0 lead in the first half. apeX came back and took a flag of their own early in the second half. Just as they set up and pulled another flag, Collapse retaliated by pulling one of their own, forcing a stalemate. After a couple of tense minutes, apeX broke Collapse's setup apart and managed to capture the flag shortly followed by a relay capture. apeX's BigTymer was the top slayer with 21 kills and 11 deaths. Map count apeX 2, Collapse 1.

Arkaden SND was the following map and apeX, who looked strong on the previous search and destroy game, didn't seem so dominant. Collapse and apeX traded rounds, with Merk having a brilliant 1 v 3 but failing to defuse the bomb, causing the scores to even out 3-3. An intense final round followed, with apeX just managing to out-slay their opponents. Map count apeX 3, Collapse 1.

In the fifth game, CTF Dome, Collapse displayed an impressive knowledge of the game in the first half, with Karma getting an insane 3 peice inside the enemy base, forcing a clever spawn trap and scoring a capture. apeX brought it back in the second half however, getting a cap of their own, and forcing another stalemate to take the map to 1 flag each. On the replay (due to a tie), Collapse once again demonstrated clever map control setups, taking an early lead with 2 relayed flags and managing to hold the score for the remainder of the half. In the second half, Collapse managed to hold the score 2-0 before apeX managed just one capture in the last minute. Collapse take the map, match score now at 3-2 to apeX.

On the next SND map, Carbon, apeX confirmed that they are the better search and destroy team. They breezed the game 4-1, with some impressive plays from Scump. Final map count was 3-2 to apeX NA, who now face Body Count to win $6000.
