photo shop problem

my text in photoshop is so small i can barely see a single letter, can anyone help?

Check the image size and the DPI.

yeah im completely new to photoshop. so how do i set the dpi?

It should be in the window when you open up Image Size. If you're making something for the internet make sure it's at 72. If you're making something that you're going to print out onto paper it should be at 200.

what is the zoom on your PS window? it doesn't set it to 100% even if it is a new file.

yeah it is at 72, still no difference

To change the text size type something then select it above it (if you are in the typing tool) you will find just like Microsoft Word and change it to desired. Make sure you have it all selected. If that doesnt work at the top where it says essentials design and painting. Go to design select your text on the side in the character box you will see the same things different format. If that doesnt work there is always Youtube. I just told you the ways I resize text

yeah,it all looks fine and i'll put it to the largest font and it will only get a little bigger. and also threres nothing on youtube except the dpi.

If you are still having trouble you could try a different program to get you used to things like this... such as Pixlr.

yeah i am used to things pretty much on photoshop. but this problem randomly happened. i used gimp for the longest time. and at scool i use photoshop for many assighnments. fml
