I wish I the patience to get over the learning curve in games like this, I'm sure they are fun as hell once you figure out what the hell you are doing. K2 seems to be an easier climb than Starcraft.

Once you start to learn somethings, the rest should just start to come. It does help having someone help you though.

It's like playing chess in real-time. It's incredibly complicated and time-sensitive. You also have to have the coordination to be able to "micro" units (move them around in a fight) which sounds easy but it's not. You'll see what I mean when you start watching some games. Here's a Korean playing:

If you want a game like starcraft for xbox I would recommend Command and Conquer. Not sure what ones the newest, but that game is the same type of of as SC.
