Not with that squad, but this is the first time in recent memory that England is coming in with such a young team. Germany, Spain and Netherlands are a couple notches above England. England is going to be in a struggle when they play the Ukraine in their next match.

Russia is looking very good, they could challenge some of the powerhouses later on in the knockout rounds.

well netherlands look like their going to be out at this rate losing to denmark and now losing to germany 2-0 also england
played quite well against france and if they play like that again (maybe more aggressive) they could easily beat ukraine and sweden.Also if england get through they probably have to play italy or croatia to beatable teams, but when england get to the semi-finals then they are more likely have to play spain and thats when its going to get tough for them.

Russia did look good against czech republic but when they played poland they seemed to struggle to be able to score when poland equalised.

I call it now. Spain will win Euro 2012 and have three consecutive wins under their belt. If they do not then I think Germany will take it. But England is not on the same level as them. Spain for sure would win if they had David Villa, but that really hurts them but still as a team I say they win.

Also I am biased since they are my home team

But Spain or Germany. If they had David Villa, it would be no competition, Spain all day.

well i tihkn based on what i have seen so far germany, spain, and england look like the 3 main teams.
Spain ripped apart ireland tonight but seemed to struggle against italy so this makes me wonder how they will perform against the likes of germany or england.
Germany look good at the start of games but when they are comfortable in the games they seem to let the foot off the gas (like they did against the netherlands).
England look like a very disciplined team with a lot of potential in the future,(Brazil 2014) they just need to be more agressive and not just play on the counter attack and not invite teams on to them because we will get ripped apart by germany and spain.
Im looking forward to the remainder of the compettition!

Czech Republic vs Portugal: TODAY
- should be a very entertaining game with both sides netting multiple goals, this could be the most exciting game to watch out of the 4. Portugal wins 3-2 in overtime

Germany vs Greece: TOMORROW
- Greece made it through group play by playing sound defense and taking advantage when the opportunities arrived. But this is Germany, Germany wins 2-0

Spain vs France: SATURDAY

France has the midfielders and forwards to keep the pressure on Spain, problem is Spain is so talented getting the ball from them is going to be the biggest problem France has. For France to have a chance, they need to insert Evra back into the starting lineup, he has a ton of experience playing in the EPL and Champions League. Benzima and Nasri need to step up and net a goal or 2. Spain is Spain, the most talented team the world has seen since the mid-90's to early 00's Brasil teams. Spain wins 1-0
