Emily's grandpa goes insanely crazy when he gets angry. He bought her brother a pc for christmas then in march her brother was being loud while grandpa was trying to sleep. So without telling him to be quiet or any other reasonable way of toning someone's noise down, he yells and literally screams for a few minutes while he busts into johnny's room, rips the cords out of his tower, and throws it against the wall. Johnny doesn't have a working pc anymore.

All of my electronics were in emily's room, but now since she is planning on telling him soon I moved my stuff out. When she tells him he will either kick or out, or let her stay without ever seeing me again. So she is most likely moving in with me until we figure something out. Why wait to see if a problem comes up if you can just avoid it completely? I'd rather not put all of my stuff in chance. What if I get fucked over in court? I'd be out a brand new laptop, a40s, 22" monitor, xbox, ps3, and a 52" tv. I'll just play it safe and move all of that to my house.

I used to think that, but you can think like that while thinking rationally. He hurts emily's feelings just about every time he opens his mouth and a lot of the time it's completely ridiculous stuff. Sure she could have a little thicker skin, but you shouldn't have to in your own home. She is emotional enough without grandpa. I try to tell her to just let him yell and say what he wants and to not take anything to heart.. buut she has a soul and doesn't have that function.

@bold: there will be a time where something radical will happen. I'm thinking that it'll be soon. A lot of people say they'd never wish death on anyone, buut I'm not most people. He is one of the few on my list, actually.. I think he's the only one. He's had 5 strokes and still smokes 2 packs a day. There is a point where you don't care anymore.

I know. I have been dealing with it. I've done anything and everything I can to get him to like me. She is moving in with me if her grandpa kicks her out.

If the grandpa treats her like shit, I wouldnt want the mother of my kid having to live in a high stress environment while pregnant. Could be dangerous to her and the kids health

She's brought that up, and I don't really have a problem with it. We've started staying at my house for a couple nights just to ease her into it. She used to get really homesick, but it's slowly fading. I'm excited for her to move to my house because we can do more stuff together. There is no tv and very limited internet use to distract us.
